Hyundai Motor Company is the worlds 5th largest automobile manufacturer of mid sized sedans and sports utility vehicles. The word Hyundai is Korean for "modernity." Hyundai first entered the American market in 1986 with the Excel model. Selling a total of 126,000 Excel models, Hyundai set a record for selling the most cars in its first year of business in the U.S. In 2005, Hyundai made history by becoming the first car manufacturer to have a "deaf friendly" dealership in the whole world.
